Text on Retapedia is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). You are free to share and adapt the material, provided you give appropriate credit and license your derivative work under the same terms.

Summary of the license

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
  • ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license.
  • No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

How to attribute

When reusing a Retapedia article, please include a link back to the page on this site and a notice such as "From Retapedia, available under CC BY-SA 4.0." When reusing in print, include the page URL and a citation of the license.

What is not covered

The CC BY-SA license covers the text of articles. It does not cover:

  • Third-party content cited and linked from Retapedia — research papers, regulatory documents, news reports — which retain their original copyrights.
  • Trademarks, including the names of commercial products mentioned in articles.
  • The Retapedia name and globe wordmark, which are reserved.
  • Source code for the site itself, which is published separately under a separate open-source license.
